Medical treatments in Iran/Hair transplant

Hair transplant in Iran for Iraqi patients
Hair transplant surgery permanently restores hair to thinning or bald areas by moving your own follicles from the back of the head. Iran's hair restoration clinics perform thousands of FUE and DHI procedures a year for patients from across the region, at prices well below Turkey. Hemrah arranges your assessment, the procedure, and a comfortable three-day stay.
- Who it is for
Men with male-pattern hair loss and a healthy donor area
Women with thinning or a high hairline
Patients wanting beard or eyebrow restoration, or repair of a previous transplant
- Treatment & stay
One session of 6–8 hours under local anesthesia, outpatient
3–4 days in Iran including assessment and first wash
- Recovery
Scabs fall off within 7–10 days; back to work in 3–5 days
New growth from 3–4 months; final density at 12–18 months
- Results & success
Graft survival above 90% at experienced clinics; results are permanent because transplanted follicles are resistant to hair loss.
Hair transplant in Iran — what to expect
Modern hair transplantation is a minimally invasive outpatient procedure under local anesthesia. In FUE, individual follicular units are extracted from the donor area and implanted into the thinning area; in DHI, a Choi implanter pen places each graft directly for greater density and control. A typical session transplants 2,000–3,500 grafts over 6–8 hours. There are no stitches or linear scars, and you return to the hotel the same day. New hair begins to grow at 3–4 months, with full results at 12–18 months. Beard, eyebrow, and women's hairline procedures use the same techniques.

How many grafts will I need?+
Send us clear photos of the front, top, crown, and back of your head. The surgeon will estimate the number of grafts and the achievable density.
Is a hair transplant painful?+
The procedure is done under local anesthesia; most patients feel only the initial injections. Mild tightness or itching for a few days afterwards is normal and managed with the medication in your aftercare kit.
Why choose Iran over Turkey for a hair transplant?+
The same techniques and surgeon-led teams, at roughly half the price, a shorter flight from Iraq, and Arabic-speaking support. Hemrah works only with clinics where the surgeon — not just technicians — leads the procedure.
